The Center for Education Reform is seeking externs who are passionate about non-profit development, and have a knack at creative writing and/or journalism. While there are no hard requirements, this opportunity is recommended for students with prior non-profit experience and volunteerism with education organizations, and would be a perfect fit for a student looking to pursue a career as a non-profit administrator, fundraising, sales, or business development professional. Students with related skills, experience, and general interest in the Center's mission are equally encouraged to inquire and submit an application that best highlights their transferrable skills.
Founded in 1993, the Center for Education Reform started with a simple premise—to achieve excellence in education. The first laws supporting charter schools, school choice offerings and even state standards were owing to CER’s leadership.
