Overview
The Coca-Cola Foundation has partnered with National Geographic Society and The Nature Conservancy to provide scholars with unique access to a career-enhancing remote externship program during the spring of 2024.
This 8-week program aims to hone professional skills and foster meaningful change through collaboration with well-known organizations.
Scholars will cultivate storytelling and communication skills, transforming complex issues into actionable, community-focused initiatives. Alongside a network of industry leaders and peers, participants will not only impact global challenges but also build a strong professional network.
Additionally, Coca-Cola Scholars will have the exclusive opportunity to attend an in-person career development event, where they will further connect with professionals from National Geographic Society, The Nature Conservancy, Coca-Cola, and their peers.

During this Externship, you will:
- Learn how to effectively communicate by utilizing written and visual storytelling.
- Network with a global community of leaders, experts, and like-minded peers.
- Conduct analysis to identify challenges within your area and propose innovative solutions to address any issues you may uncover.
- Develop strong research skills by employing primary and secondary research methods to investigate concerns within your local area.
